ARCHIVE NOTES
Aichi Toyota is one of Toyota's principal domestic dealer groups, based in Aichi Prefecture — the home of Toyota Motor Corporation, headquartered in Toyota City. The "SINCE 1935" line references the earliest days of Toyota's automotive activity: the company grew out of Toyota Automatic Loom Works, with its first passenger prototype (the Model A1) completed in 1935, the year before Toyota Motor Co. was formally established. Dealer staff blousons like this were issued to sales and service personnel and carry the official Toyota mark alongside the regional dealer name, making them a grounded piece of everyday Toyota corporate history.
