ARCHIVE NOTES
Potenza is Bridgestone's high-performance tyre range, and the name the company took racing: Bridgestone competed in Formula 1 from 1997 to 2010, latterly as the championship's sole tyre supplier, and the Potenza brand was carried on the grand prix tyre itself. Bridgestone Motorsport was the division behind that programme and behind the company's wider competition activity, and coveralls in this livery belong to the paddock and service side of it rather than to a car constructor. The woven Bridgestone Motorsport belt label and the Potenza chest patch together place the garment squarely in that era. Branding is documented from the garment's own patches, prints and woven label; no team issue, specific season or race use is claimed.
